Obituary

Funeral services for Edward Cleatus "Dumplin" Huey will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Grace United Baptist Church in Decatur with Bro. Mark McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Grace United Baptist Church Cemetery with Newton County Funeral Home North, 9998 Hwy. 15 North, Newton, in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Huey, 60, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. He was a member of MS Good Sam's Camping Group, "The Trailblazers" and the Evergreen #57 Masonic Lodge in Decatur. He was also a member of Grace United Baptist Church where he helped to revive the church visitation ministry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and serving the Lord.

Survivors include: wife: Sharon Huey, of Little Rock; daughters: Ginger Hand & husband Joey, of Hickory; Robin McDonald & husband Jamie, of Newton; sister: Theresa Buntyn & husband Mark, of Decatur; stepdaughter: Andrea Allen Shoultz, of Houston, TX; stepson: Brent Anthony Allen, of Cleveland, TX; grandchildren: John Hand, Laci Meeks, Sammie Hand, Regan Hand, Steven Weir, Leanne Weir, Lexi McDonald, Ashlin Shoultz, Dylan Shoultz, Hailey Allen, and Keaton Allen; and nephews: Eric and Wesley Buntyn

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.C. "Shorty" and Margie Kelly Huey.

Pallbearers will be Joe Speed, Joe Pat Lannon, Donnie Page, Roy Clary, Mike Massey, and
Hudson Temples.

Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 8 PM Friday, August 5, 2011, at the funeral home.
