Wilma Jean Myers was born January 12, 1932 to her parents Alonzo and Ollie Mae Hall Myers. She spent her childhood in Merigold, in the Mississippi Delta, where she also attended school. She married John David West, in her junior year of high school, on February 26, 1949, and spent a lifetime together of 64 years at his passing. She was a devoted pastor's wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, working word search and cross word puzzles. Her favorite game to play was Yahtzee, and the family crowned her the "Queen of Yahtzee." She was a Christian who loved her Lord. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
