Funeral services for William "Billy" Harrison Harris, II will be held at: 3 P.M. , on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton with Bro. Joe Garvin officiating. Burial will be in Leaf River Baptist Church Cemetery in Pineville.

Visitation will be held from 1 P.M. until 2: 45 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Newton County Funeral Home-South, 100 Old Hwy 15 Loop, Newton., is in charge of arrangements.

Billy, a loving husband, father, and cousin, 66, of Meridian, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013, in Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was born in Meridian on April 11, 1947, and raised in Hero, MS.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Harris; mother, Tennie M. Godwin; stepbrother, Jimmy Godwin and wife Terri; son, Harrison Harris, III and wife Natalie; stepson, Michael Simpson and family; stepdaughters, Brandy McFarland, and Kelly McFarland, and step-grandchildren, Kody and Kara; and special family friend: Marion Tranchina

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Harris; and sister, Patricia Parrish.

Pallbearers are Bob Williams, Jack Douglas, Ronnie Todd, Alan Wilson, Jason Williams, and Ronnie Myers.
