Wanda Nell Parker, 86, of Newton, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was born Wednesday, September 18, 1935 in Corsicana, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Newton County Funeral Home-South.  Graveside services will follow at 12:30 PM at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Newton, MS. Bro. Daniel Richardson and Bro. Tommy Tanner will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200

Mrs. Wanda will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.  She loved spending time with all of her family, traveling, and playing bingo.  She was a licensed manicurist and enjoyed talking with people.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Louis White and Ira Parker; parents, James and Mabel Jones; son-in-laws, Cliff Richardson, Clay Kynerd, and Richard Holsonback; siblings, Alton Jones and Daisy Beggs; and brother-in-laws, J.D. Beggs, Edward Skirlock, and Ralph Gourley.

Survivors include her children, Mary Richardson, Tammie Kynerd, Shirley White, and Ronald (Patti) White; grandchildren: Stephanie Little, Larry (Kay) Holsonback, and Robby Richardson; great-grandchildren: Jessieka Little and Austin (Nicole) Holsonback; great-great grandchildren:, Cass, K.J., and  Loraina; sisters: Darrell Skirlock, June Gourley, Fayrene (Buford) Rash, and Janie Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Harris, Dustin Harris, Robby Richardson, and Larry Holsonback.
