Vie Holt, 64 of Union, MS, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 at her residence. Graveside services will be held on Thursday July 24, 2014 at 2:00pm at Sand Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Hickory, MS. Newton County Funeral Home South, 100 Old Highway 15 Loop, Newton, MS is in charge of arrangements 601-635-3200.

Vie was born in Union, MS and a life long resident of Newton County. She was a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Preceded in death by: Parents: Charlie and Mavis Holt; brothers: James M. and Gerald Holt.

Survivors Include: daughter:Renee McGee, Lake, MS; granddaughter: Shelby McGee, Lake, MS; siblings: Eloise Callahan, Lavelle Holt (Bonnie), Dot Mosley (Bob), William Holt (Lorene), Quenell McAnally (Bob), Ann Airhart (David), Joyce Johnson (Jimmy), twin sister Via Everett (Dennis, and sister-in-law Ruth Holt;a number of nieces and nephews and several special friends including Russell Stanford.

Visitation will be held from on Thursday, July 24 from 12:00pm - 1:30pm at Newton County Funeral Home South.
