Vida Joyce Huff Pugh, 74, of Hickory, Mississippi, passed away, Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at Anderson's Regional Medical Center. She was born Thursday, June 13, 1946.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 13, 2020, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-South. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Thomas Laird, Bro. Roger Laird, and Bro. David Tero will officiate. Vida was a long time devoted member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her church family. Some of her greatest joys was reading the Lord's Word, being in His house, and spending time with family. She truly had a heart of servitude and brought a smile to each person she met. She adored her pug Jon Jon; she loved being called Mamaw. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She will truly be missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Pat Pugh; parents, Percy and Lillie Huff; sister, Gladys Vaughn; brother, Ottis Huff.

Survivors include her children, Steven Pugh (Cheryl), Rene' Pugh-Rivette, and Diane Littleton (Bryan); grandchildren, Hank Pugh, Kyle Pugh (Emily), Katie Horton, and Kevin Horton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Horton, Bryant Williams, Zach Skelton, Hank Pugh, Kyle Pugh, and Randy Bishop.
