Travis Donald Wall

Decatur, MS - Services for Travis Donald Wall will be held Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS. Burial will follow at Decatur City Cemetery with Newton County Funeral Home - South in charge of arrangements. Bro. Larry Laird will officiate.

Mr. Wall, 78, died Monday, January 11, 2016 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.
He was born Sunday, May 9, 1937 in Decatur, MS.

Mr. Wall made his home in Decatur, MS and was an active member of Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. He retired as a First Sergeant from the MS Army National Guard after more than 40 years of service in which he received numerous awards. In addition he also retired from Esco Corporation. He was an avid cattle farmer and a member of the Mississippi Cattlemen's Association. He loved his family and in his later years he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Travis Wall and Bernice Wall Clark.

Survived by his wife of 55 years, Elaine Robinson Wall, Daughter - Becky (Marty) McCullough, Madison, MS; Sons, Jeff Wall, Atlanta, GA, Shane (Vanessa) Wall, Decatur, MS; Grandchildren Brandon McCullough, Zachary McCullough, Hayden Wall, Harrison Wall; Great-Grandchild Peyton McCullough; and Brother Joe (Betty) Wall, Newton, MS.

Pallbearers are Mickey McMillan, Charles Thompson, Delbert Walton, Justin Horn, Prentiss Bounds, Johnny Baucum.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton.
