Thomas Rogers Foxworth, 70, of Newton, MS passed Sunday, February 19, 2017 at his home in Newton, MS. He was born Friday, October 18, 1946 in Hattiesburg , MS.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home. Newton County Funeral Home - South is in charge of arrangements. (601)635-3200
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Foxworth and Dorothy Lee Foxworth.
Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years Myrtis Evelyn Foxworth of Newton, MS; children, T.J. Foxworth, Chicago, IL and Steve Smith, Las Vegas, NV; brother, James Foxworth (Gerry), Apex, NC; sister, Shirley Foxworth, Charolette , NC; niece, Deedra Nunally Apex, NC nephews, William Foxworth , Apex, NC; Jason Foxworth, Apex, NC, Brandon Foxworth, Charolette , NC; aunt, Myrtle O'Brien, West Point , MS; aunt, Rosalie McMahan, Conway, AK; sister-in-law, Vera Conrad (Steve), Union, MS; brother-in-law, Walter Fillingane, Hickory, MS; 1 great niece, 2 great nephews and his caregiver, Ms. Crystal Rhynes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mickey Byrant, Watson Sims and Jack Graham.
