Obituary

Thelma Pamperien, 99, of Newton, Mississippi, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at the Beehive in Newton, Mississippi. She was born Monday, March 13, 1922, in Cisco, Texas.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins, GA. Rev. Paul Cowles from Friendship Baptist Church will officiate the service. Newton County Funeral Home and McCullough Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
Thelma was a very dedicated member of her church. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She was very active in daily exercising and working in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Dovie Clay; daughter, Vickie Arlene Shimfessel; brothers, Silas Clay, Jr. and Elzie Lee Clay; sister, Dovie Alene Seabourn.
Survivors include her daughter, Darlene Kay Kappelos (Peter); grandchildren, Donnie Shimfessel (Shelly), Missy Spears, and Kassie Kappelos (Chris Blea); great-grandchildren, Lauren Joseph (Kenny), John Parker Shimfessel, Heath Spears, Wes Spears (Mallory), and Jessica Blea.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 1322 Feagin Mill Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
