Tessy Sue Kittrell, age 55, and a resident of Forest, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at her residence.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 12;30 pm until 2:00 pm at Newton County Funeral Home - South in 100 Old Highway 15 Loop, Newton. Funeral services will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Scott County. Bro. Reggie Tatum will officiate.

She was born Monday, March 31, 1969 in Forest to her parents Howard and Sue Usry Kittrell. Tessy was a native of Scott County and will be remembered as a hard worker, working different positions and different places. She loved horses and being outdoors. She was loved  and will be missed by her family. She was a Christian by testimony of her faith.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Prestage;  father, Howard Kittrell and her brother, Craig Kittrell.

Survivors include her sons, Justin Prestage of Forest and William  Prestage of Vaiden;  daughters, Hannah Wilkerson of Hickory and Amanda Sanders of Forest; her mother, Sue  Usry Holmes (Jerry) of Forest; sister, Sonya Thompson (Brent) of Petal, MS; and numerous  grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jessie Wayne Holmes, Jessie Lee Holmes, Shannon Wilkerson, Jerry Michael Holmes, Randall Prestage, and Bobby Lee Bishop Jr..
