Talitha Jane Williams, 79, of Hickory, Mississippi, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.  She was born Monday, October 27, 1941 in Meridian, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Newton County Funeral Home-South with funeral services immediately following in the chapel.  Burial will follow in Sand Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Jackie Strebeck will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (601) 635-3200.

Talitha will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was truly dedicated to her family and full of perseverance through life's many changes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Williams; parents, Jasper and Beatrice Hurst; son-in-law, Mickey Yates; and sister, Mefaline Gibbs.

Survivors include her daughters, Judy Estes, Barbara Easom, and Karla Yates; grandchildren: Clay Bolton, Julie Thompson, Kyle Breland, Josh Thompson, Tyler Green, and Brandon Yates; great-grandson, Aiden Thompson; sister, Maurine Williamson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends.

Pallbearers will be Clay Bolton, Kyle Breland, Josh Thompson, Tyler Green, Brandon Yates, and Mike Gibbs.
