Stephen Carl Bolton, age 69, and a current resident of Newton, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025.

He was born Sunday, June 26, 1955 in Newton, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 2:45 pm at Newton County Funeral Home - South 100 Old Highway 15 Loop, Newton, MS. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton, MS. Burial will follow in Newton Masonic Cemetery.

Bro. Larry Duncan will officiate.

Steve was a resident of Texas and Mississippi, and was a Christian. He was a welder, by profession and enjoyed reading the Bible and talking to God. He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bassel Earl Bolton, Jr.; mother, Ilsa Bolton; and one brother, Andrew Earl Bolton.

Survivors include two nephews, one great-nephew and several cousins.
