Ruby Nell Kuhn, 72, of Yazoo City, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at University Mississippi Medical Center. She was born Tuesday, February 17, 1948 in Yazoo City, Mississippi.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Justin Chaney will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kuhn, Sr.; parents, Joseph and Mary Heathcock; sibilings, Mary Katherine Heathcock, Betty Jo Heathcock, Ima Josephine Heathcock, Gloria Alice Heathcock, William Alan Heathcock, and Cecil L. Heathcock.

Survivors include her children, Mary Esther Denton, Melinda Lee Kuhn, and George William Kuhn, Jr.; grandchildren, Michael Bain, Joseph Denton, Johnathan Bain, Tracy Scroggins, Katherine Scroggins, Averrill Scroggins, and Mason Kuhn; sisters, Joyce Lynn Heathcock, Brenda Faye Heathcock, and Inez Smith; a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Denton, Jr Kuhn, Jake Atkinson, Binky Christopher, Mon Davis, and William Jenkins.
