Robert E. Mason, 77 of Newton, MS passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023, at University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born Monday, July 22, 1946, in Union, Mississippi.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 11:00AM at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Newton, MS with burial to follow. Bro. Mark Kilgore will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home - South is in charge of arrangements. 601-635-3200

He was preceded in death by his father, Spurgeon Mason; mother, Margie Skelton Mason; sister, Sandra Mason.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Susan White Mason; daughter, Kate Collins (Ryan); grandchild, Mason Collins; brother, Butch Mason (Cindy).
