Services for Robert (Bob) Donald Munn will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home - North in Newton, MS . Burial will be at the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Newton, MS with Newton County Funeral Home - North in charge of arrangements (601)635-3200. Bro. Ryan Reed, Rev. Mark Vincent and Bro. Jeff Jones will officiate.

Mr. Munn, 82, died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Anderson's Hospital in Meridian, MS. He was born Friday, January 6, 1933 in Decatur, MS.

Mr. Munn was a lifelong resident of Newton County. He was in the US Army serving during the Korean War. He was a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church from childhood. He also was a member of the American Legion Post in Decatur, MS. Mr. Munn will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and papaw. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, Ned and Bertie Lee Munn; Brothers, Edwin Munn and Gerald Munn, and Sister Dot Harris.

He is survived by: Wife of 63 years, Helen Munn; Son, Don Munn (Joy); Daughter, Jo Blackburn (Larry); Grandchildren: Tracy Holliman (Neal), Kim Lampton (Paul), Megan Jones (Jeff), and Cassie Munn; 6 Great-grandchildren; 3 sister-in-laws; 3 brother-in-laws; special friends, Lavell and Ann Harrell; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Kent Carey, Eddie Stamper, Jimmy Coghlan, Todd Pillsbury, David Sheely, Scott Smith.
