Mrs. Robbie Ann Noblin, age 83 and a longtime resident of the Homewood community, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at her residence.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm at Newton County Funeral Home - North in 9998 Eastside Dr. Extension, Newton.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Newton County Funeral Home - North.

Burial will follow in Homewood Methodist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Dan Henry will officiate.

She was born Saturday, September 6, 1941 in Homewood. She graduated from Ector County High School in Odessa, TX, where her father worked in the oil fields. After graduation, she remained in Odessa for over 20 years where she worked at Texas Instruments. She relocated back to her home roots over forty years ago. She worked for Wal-Mart and at Ratheyon, before retirement. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Hobbies included cooking, going camping, and sewing. She was a Christian, and a member of Homewood Community Church and attended as long as her health permitted. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and MaryPauline Thornton Noblin.

Survivors include her three  children, David Barrow, Vicki Trest, and Theo Martin, Jr.  all of Forest; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Nell Johnson of Forest, and four nephews.
