Funeral services for Peggy Doris Daniels Griffin will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 10:00 am at  New Life Lake Lighthouse Church at Lake. Burial will follow in Hazel Cemetery.

Mrs. Griffin, age  74, and a resident of Lake, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at the St. Dominics Hospital in Jackson. She a native of Scott County, and a longtime resident of Lake. She was retired employee of ESCO, Corp., after thirty years of service. She was a member of Hazel Baptist Church at Lake, and had most recently been affliated with the Gospel Lighthouse at Lake. Favorite past times was tending to her flowers, feeding her chickens, fishing and visiting with her family. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughters, Debbie Gail Daniels and Patsy Lynn Daniels;  her parents, Leon and Sibyl Sanderson Griffin;  two brothers, Robert Griffin and Leon  Griffin, Jr..

Survivors include one son, Eddie Daniels of Lake;  two daughters, Debra Stevenson (Robert) of Loranger, LA, and Crystal Crowson of Lake; two brothers, William  Griffin (Helen) of Lawrence and Travis Griffin of Sebastopol; three sisters, Virginia Thrash and  Shirley Bufkin, both of Forest and Freda Ethridge (Greg) of Seminary; eight grandchildren; one great- grandchild; a host of nieces and  nephews;  her boyfriend of 25 years, Juan Francisco Ramos.

Pallbearers will be Tristan King, Seth Griffin, Juan Ramos, Mario Loera, Quenton Chamblee and Davis Wayne Monk.
Visitation will be held on Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.
