Pauline Brownlee Lasseter "Mammy", 91, of Decatur, MS died Monday, August 29, 2016 at Regency Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was born Wednesday, November 5, 1924 in Blakely, GA.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home - North in Newton, with funeral services to follow. Burial will follow in the Brown Family Cemetery in Decatur, MS. Rev. Jeffrey Todd Brown and Bro. Philip Smith will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home - North is in charge of arrangements. Mammy will be remembered for her love for her family, bird watching, and flowers. She will also be remembered for her love and faith in the Lord. She enjoyed listening to the Gaithers and also cooking pancakes and sausage for her family. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Sterling J. Lasseter and parents
Claude Duvall and Stella Florence Brownlee.

Survivors include Daughter - Margie Brown (Roger); Son - Randy Lasseter (Judy); Grandchildren: Jeffrey Todd Brown (Susan), Bradd Brown (Chaille), Scott Lasseter and family, Michael Lasseter and family, Craig Lasseter and family, Randy Lasseter, Jr. and family, Laura Clemons and family; Great-grandchildren: Brittany Brown Sudduth (Chris), Matthew Brown, Hannah Brown, Spencer Brown, Carson Brown.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Brown, Chris Sudduth, Erik Derby, Steven Kelly, Jimmie Nowell, John (Chicken) Williamson.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children and the Ronald McDonald House.
