Paul Daniel Lundy I, 61, of Chunky, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born Wednesday, January 28, 1959 in Meridian, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Chunky, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Bro. Jack Kern and Bro. Paul will be remembered as a simple man that loved his family.  He enjoyed the outdoors and sports.  He was an avid Mississippi State fan and also was a history buff.  He was a man of his word, he said what he meant and meant what he said.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Lundy; son,  Paul Daniel Lundy, II and his wife Lori; daughter,  Melinda Horne and her husband Brooks; sister,  Kathy Holdiness; brothers,  Joseph Lundy and his wife Cheryl, and Randy Lundy; and grandchildren:  Abigail Horne, Allie Lundy, Alex Horne, McKenzie Lundy, and Katelyn Lundy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lundy and Elizabeth Lundy; siblings: William Earl Lundy, Ray and Kay Lundy (infant twins), and Horace Dale Lundy and brother-in-law, John Holdiness.

Pallbearers will be Corey Holdiness, Michael Lundy, Tony Anthony, Danny Anthony, Jamie Lundy, and Joseph Lundy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene Anthony, Denton Green, Junior McMinn, and Ricky Embrey.
