Patsy Ruth Jones' Obituary
Patsy Ruth Jones, 75, of Hickory, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation in York, Alabama. She was born Friday, March 10, 1944 in Chunky, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the Newton County Funeral Home-North. Graveside Services will follow at 10:30 AM at Chunky Cemetery. Bro. Jack Kern will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200
Patsy retired from East Mississippi State Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi after 28 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Frances Jones; her brother, Wayne Jones.
Survivors include brother, Donald Jones (Linda); sister, Carolyn Burks (Charles); sister-in-law, Sara Jones; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dusty Jones, Ronnie Thrash, Joey Etheridge, and Chad Jones.
