Patsy Ruth Black, 67, of Union, Mississippi, died Monday, October 8, 2018 at Laird Hospital in Union, Mississippi. She was born Friday, September 21, 1951 in Meridian, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Newton County Funeral Home- North. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home- North and the Burial will follow in Rock Branch Cemetery. Bro. Danny Chaney will officiate. She was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Lois Stevens; brothers:  Charles 'BB' Stevens Bobby Ray Stevens, and Ruben A. Stevens.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth L. Black; children: Tony Terrell (Libby), Kim Minshew (Flint); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters:  Mary Williams, Tommie Jane Reese, Elmer Jenkins (Larry), Rosie Burt (Dan), and brother Danny Stevens.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Terrell, Hunter Terrell, Michael Castillo, Robert Black, James Raley and Bobbie Joe Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Terrell and Flint Minshew.
