Omar E. Easom, 80 of Sun City Center, Fla passed away Dec 20, 2017. He retired from Lucent Technology as a PBX Installer/Technician. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Sun City Center, Fl and F& AM Lodge 634 in Burnside, KY.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Katie Easom, his daughter and son in law, Ellen (Barkley Jennings) Easom Sturgill, his son, Eric Edward (Hillary) Easom, four grandchildren, Catherine Jennings Sturgill, William Barkley Sturgill, Jude Alexander Easom, and Claire Gabrielle Easom, two brothers, Clemon Easom and Roger (Nancy) Easom and a cousin, Wilburt (Jean) Easom.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Poplar Baptist Church 596 Poplar Road, Conehatta, Mississippi. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
