Norma Lee Pearcy Jordan

Brandon, MS - Services for Norma Lee Jordan will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM from Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton, MS . Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery in Newton, MS with Newton County Funeral Home - South in charge of arrangements. Dr. Brian Rushing will officiate.

Mrs. Jordan, 88, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Brandon Nursing and Rehab. She was born Wednesday, October 6, 1926 in Ellisville, MS.

Ms. Norma, who was affectionately known as "Nona", was a long time resident of Newton County and a member of First Baptist Church of Newton singing in the Senior Adult Choir. She will be remembered for her love for the seasons such as the fall leaves and especially the Christmas season.

She is predeceased by:
Son - Larry Jordan, Parents - William James Pearcy and Rena Robinson Pearcy, Husband - Jimmy Jordan, Brother - William James Pearcy, Sisters - Lucille Pearcy Horn and Aline Pearcy Zigler.

She is survived by:
Daughter - Annette Jordan Hand (Tim), Brandon, MS, Son - Neil Jordan , Philadelphia, PA, Daughter - Cille Jordan Norman (Richard), Newton, MS, Special Niece - Mary Cille Gibbs (Doyle), Newton, MS, Special Grand Daughter - Christi Hand Busby (Dustin), Grand Children - Paul Hand (Melinda), Mia Jordan, Jacob Jordan, Jennifer Rice (Joe), Jill Norman, Jessica Saucier (James), 10 Great GrandChildren and Great Nieces- Nicole McGee (Jeff) and Stacy Terrell (Jamie).

Pallbearers will be:
George Ward, Mark Killen, Mike Strebeck, Jamie Terrell, Jason Ward, Bob Bridges, Charlie Godwin and Mike Jordan.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton.
