Nora Jean Majure, 77, passed away at her residence in Hickory, Mississippi on Monday, June 1, 2020. She was born Thursday, July 23, 1942 in Meridian, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Hickory, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 5, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Bro. Eric Embrey, Bro. Joel Embrey, and Bro. She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Majure; parents: A.C. and Nora Embrey; sisters: Mary Cooley, Grace Griffin, Gerelene Pugh, and Claty Mae Embrey, and brother-in-law, Fred Harwell.

Survivors include her children: Frannie Murphy (Tim), Toby Majure, Mark Majure (Lisa); grandchildren: Matthew Majure, Lucas Majure, Austin Murphy, Dillon Majure, Morgan Jordan (Jesse), Daniel Majure, and Dakota Majure; one great-grandson Wade Jordan; special nieces: Michelle Robinson (Ronnie) and Melissa Stamm (Colby); nephew, Tyler Robinson (Loren); brothers: J.V. Embrey (Senora) and Albert Embrey (Barbara); sister, Merle Harwell; and sister-in-law, Jeanette Kinard (Bob).

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jesse Jordan
