Nancy Marie Gardner, 70, formerly of Pinola, MS passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023 at her residence in Newton, MS. She was born Thursday, June 12, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South (100 Old Highway 15 Loop, Newton, MS) with funeral services immediately following.  Bro. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Algood; mother, Bernice Baker Algood; and sister, Carol Sisk.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Gardner; daughters, Lesli Fullerton and Lisa Johnston (Scott); 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dwane Algood, David Algood and Charles Algood; sisters, Patricia Moss, Kathy Brooks, Barbara Massingill and Glenda Anthony; and many loved nieces and nephews.
