Nancy Ann Ethridge
(March 16, 1939 – December 30, 2024)

Nancy Ann Ethridge, 85 of Decatur, Mississippi passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the V.A. Nursing Home in Kosciusko, Mississippi. She was born on Thursday, March 16, 1939, in Ligonier, Indiana.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Newton County Funeral Home – North, 9998 Hwy. 15 North, Newton, Mississippi with funeral services to follow at 3:00 p.m.  The burial will follow in Newton County Memorial Gardens in Newton, Mississippi with the Rev. Mrs. Nancy was a member of Clarke-Venable Baptist Church in Decatur, Mississippi.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.  She enjoyed reading, playing Bingo, playing cards, and most of all spending time with her grandkids.  She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-six years, David M. Ethridge; parents, Herbert and Isabell Sprague LeCount; and sister, Pat LeCount Green.

Survivors include her three sons, David L. Ethridge (Karen) of Decatur, MS, Randy Ethridge (Wanda) of Decatur, MS and Michael Ethridge of Decatur, MS; seven grandchildren, Joshua Ethridge of Decatur, MS, Jennifer Ethridge Duncan (David) of Conehatta, MS, Joannah Ethridge of Decatur, MS, Heather Ethridge Graham (Tim) of Decatur, MS, Kyle Ethridge of Hattiesburg, MS, Lesley Ethridge Handjis (Jonathan) of North Port, AL and Justin Ethridge of Decatur, MS; ten great-grandchildren; three siblings, Larry LeCount and Rick LeCount (Teresa), and Kathy LeCount Wright (George) all of Indiana; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Ethridge, Justin Ethridge, Jacob Duncan, Josh Ethridge Jr., Marshall McDaniel, and Jared Ethridge.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jaxson Duncan and Joshua Ethridge Sr.
