Minnie Belle Anders-Jordan, 90 of Newton, MS passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi. She was born Sunday, December 13, 1931 in Lawrence, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 9:00 am until 9:50 am at Newton County Funeral Home-North in 9998 Hwy. 15 N. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10:00 am at Newton County Funeral Home-North in Newton, Mississippi. Bro. Scott Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in Decedar Baptist Cemetery in Lawrence, Mississippi.

A native of Lawrence, Mrs. Minnie, began her schooling at Lawrence, and married at the young age of fourteen. Her marriage to Billy J. Anders, in 1945, brought to this union the birth of two daughters, Sue and Sherry. In her professional career, she was a sales clerk for Brand's Furniture and Fabrics in Newton. She was a Christian and held membership with her church family, at Midway Baptist Church in Newton. Favorite past times included a passion for gospel music, a good game of cards and cooking for her family. She loved her family very much and will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Billy J. Anders and Roger P. Jordan; her father, Amos L. Yarbrough; her mother, Ruby L. Harmon Yarbrough; one sister, Pauline K. Brown; two sons-in-law, Paul R. Menke and Daniel "Danny" S. Griffin, and one step-son, Randy Jordan.
Survivors include her two daughters, Sue Menke and Sherry Griffin, both of Newton, MS; one step-daughter, Lynn Bailey, and her husband, Curtis of Clayton, OK; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; two nieces, Oma L. Mitchell and Barbara A. Vail; two sisters-in law and several cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jason Griffin, Austin Griffn, Casey Griffin, C.J. Riley, Patrick Riley, and Michael Evans.
