Melissa Jean McFee, 63, of Noxapater, Mississippi, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at her home. She was born Monday, December 30, 1957, in Union, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-North. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Jack Foster will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200

She was preceded in death by her parents, J. R. and Dee Cleveland.

Survivors include her husband, Jack McFee, Sr.; 3 kids, Jackie McFee, Jr. and wife Catina, Cheri McFee, and Jay McFee; 5 grandkids, Adrian Overton and wife Amberly, Ashley Loper and husband Steve, Adam Devine, Cody Devine and wife Gwen, and Mason McFee; 1 great-grandson, Kyle Loper; 2 sisters, Ann Shaw and Patricia Hodges and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jackie McFee, Jr., Adam Devine, Jr., Cody Devine, Jack McFee, Austin Shaw, Adrian Overton, and Robert Stevens.
