Newton, MS - Services for Mary Ellen Parker will be held Friday, March 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-South. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS. Bro. Luke Way will officiate.
Ms. Parker, 80, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at St. Dominic Hospital. She was born Friday, July 19, 1935 in El Paso, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents Carlos and Lorenza Gil; the father of her children Jarvis G. (Tiny) Parker; two brothers, Carlos Gil, Jr., Eduardo Gil and grandson, Parker Rodenbaugh,
Survived by daughters: Deborah Hamm (Ernest), Cordie Rodenbaugh (Rick), Bonnie Brackeen, Vickie Dean (Tim); brother Gilberto Gil; sister Victoria Sanchez; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Null, Mike Parker, Ernest Hamm, Rick Rodenbaugh, Jamie Parker, Austin Parker, and Will Parker.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 4, 2016 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton,
