Martha Gene Williams, age 88, a resident of Newton, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Woodland Court, Newton, MS. She was a member of the Newton Methodist Church and was retired from the Mississippi Housing Authority.

Funeral services for Ms. Martha Gene Williams will be Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Newton County Funeral Home-North at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gary Howse officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time. Interment will follow at Newton Masonic Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ollie P. and Blanche L. Williams, Sr. and Brother Ollie P. Williams, Jr.

She is survived by her brother, Tommy (Ruth) Williams, Sr. of Biloxi and sister-in-law, Peggy Williams of Morton. Nieces and nephews Olivia(Mike)Martin, Sheila(Dana)Ryder, Tommy(Tina)Williams,David(Donna)Williams,and Erin(Paul)Roy.
