Marcus John Harris, age 61, passed away on February 26, 2018.

Marcus was born in Newton, MS to William Howard and Audie Harris.

He is survived by brother, Kenneth Harris (Shirley); sisters, Frances Walters (Donald), Mary Lou Sizemore and Cora Barnett; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.


Pallbearers will be Doug Mayes, Ronnie Federick, Scotty Walters and Dalton Sizemore, Dwight Perkins and Jimmy McDowell.


Honorary Pallbearers will be Matt Walters, Stephen Walters, Andrew Federick, Hayden Mayes, Sam Mayes, Jared Sebren, Jimmy Coghan, Larry Blackburn, Andy Milling and Kenny Harris.

He was preceded in death by parents, William Howard and Audie Harris.

Visitation will be held Saturday, 3rd of March, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Midway Baptist Church. Funeral Service for Marcus Harris will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Midway Baptist Church with Bro. Ryan Reed and Dr. John Cash officiating. Burial will follow at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.
