Funeral services for Mabel Ninette Warren will be 2 P.M. , on Monday, April 28, 2014 at Newton County Funeral Home – South. Burial will be in Lawrence Cemetery.

Visitation will be 12:30 P.M. til service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Warren, 80 of Lawrence, died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at her home.

She enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren, and her cats.

Survivors Include one son: James Edward Chesney and wife Connie of Hernando; and one daughter: Kayla Jo Simmons of Newton; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; step mother: Alma Miles of Lawrence;   one brother: Floyd Miles, Jr. of Marietta, OK; and one step sister: Nell Lancaster of Lawrence

She was preceded in death by two husbands: Mailon Chesney and L.T. Warren; parents: Floyd and Lessie Bryant Miles; and two brothers: Lester Miles and Curtis Miles

Pallbearers: James Chesney, Jr., Jason Grissom, Joey Miles, Tim Lockey, Junior Robinson, Chris Spencer, Kurt Morgan, and Jarrett Baggett.
