Lynda Gale Goss, age 65, and a current resident of Decatur, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024.

There will be a family-led celebration of life service on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Newton Christian Church with a time of food and fellowship following the celebration.

All are invited to join in this celebration.

Gale will be remembered for the love she had for people and the joyful disposition that she displayed. A generous soul, her giving spirit and selfless acts blessed the lives of everyone she came in contact with.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Lavell Ezell Goss, one brother, Thomas Goss and one brother-in-law, Pete Lohrer.

Survivors include her two sisters, Sherry Goss Lohrer of Decatur and Barbara Ann Dockery (Bill) of Fairhope, AL; one nephew, Chris Dockery of Madison and one niece, Lana Montgomery (Jason) of Finksburg, MD; two great-nephews, Jaxson Dockery and Linkoln Montgomery and four great-nieces, McKay Dockery, Gwyn Montgomery, Celee Montgomery, and Lyla Montgomery.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
