Luther "Butch" Buford Brown, 72, of Newton, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at his residence.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Newton County Funeral Home-North with funeral services immediately following.  Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Brown, Sr. and Vivian Robinson.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Brown; brother, Michael Brown (Linda); sisters, Charlotte Curtis (Bill) and Gloria Smith (Tom); one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Austin Brown, Reid Curtis, Greg Young, Wiley Walker, Mike Dearing, and Ron Walker.
