Lucille Pugh, 96 of Chunky, MS, died Monday, October 20, 2014 at her residence in Chunky, MS.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton, MS. Burial will be in Blue Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Chunky, MS. There will be a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, one hour before the funeral at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pugh was preceded in death by her parents: William Camp Snowden and Myrtice Mabel Matlock Snowden, her husband, Charlie Pugh, four brothers: Dick Snowden, Tommy Snowden, Randolph Snowden and William Snowden, and one sister Myrtie Cox.

Survivors Include: two daughters: Ima Pugh Barrett, Chunky,MS, and Elizabeth Pugh Massey (Lavon), Chunky, MS; two sons: Gilmore Pugh, Decatur, MS and George Pugh (Florence), Steele, AL; three sisters: Pauline Mabry, Lila Knox, and Betty Lou Overby; 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 44 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Michael Gressett, Kevin Gressett, Mike Snowden, Michael Snowden, London Gressett, and Ethan Gressett.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation.
