Lola B. Knotts James , 89, of Newton, MS died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was born Saturday, April 16, 1927 in Montrose, MS.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home - North in Newton funeral services will follow. Burial will follow in Newton County Memorial Garden in Newton, MS. Bro. Travis Watkins will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home - North is in charge of arrangements. (601)635-3200
She is preceded in death by her husband M.B. James; parents Charles Brook Knotts and Elmer Oda Knotts; brother, Burnham Knotts; sister, Irma Lee Nix, sister, Lena Mae Dickson; sister, Irene Toney; brother, Grady Knotts.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia McNally (Paul) of Gulfport, MS, son, Kenneth James of Forest, MS, son, Kerry James of Newton, MS, Pamela Craven (Paul) of Lawrence, MS.
Pallbearers will be John Pace, Larry Mathis, Rodney Walton, Chris James, Jason James and Christopher Allen.
