Linda Jane Webber, 77, of Hickory, Mississippi, passed away, Thursday, August 9, 2018. She was born Tuesday, December 31, 1940 in Newton, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM with Funeral Services to follow. Burial will be in Hickory City Cemetery. Rev. Tim Adams and Pastor Brandon McGowin will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home – North is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200.

She was retired from ICG Railroad as an Executive Secretary. She was an avid watcher of Fox News and a supporter of The Alabama Crimson Tide and Newton County Generals Football. She was totally devoted to her yorkie, Sparky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan Kelly Walker and Maggie Walker; her husband, Jim Webber and a daughter, Tammy Harris.

Survivors include her son, Robert Roberts (Amber) and her daughter Renee' Hoffer (Charlie); her brother, Bennie Walker (Carolyn); her sister, Glenda Hayes (Al); her grandchildren, Tyler Booker, Rob Roberts, Alexa Smith, Brandon McGowin, Shae Fuller, Dustin McGowin, Lori Harris and Lindsey Harris; a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Brandon McGowin, Dustin McGowin, Tyler Booker, Rob Roberts, Harrison Fuller and nephew, Dan Hurst.
