Kenny Ray Neese, 62, of Hickory, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS.  He was born Saturday, September 27, 1958 in Meridian, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-South in Newton, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home-South and the burial will follow at Sand Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Ben Harper and Bro. Kenny Ray was a lifelong resident of Newton County.  He worked over 40 years at Esco.   He was a longtime member of Sand Springs Baptist Church.  Kenny Ray was an outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, camping, and kayaking.  He also enjoyed singing and dancing.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by grandparents: Darling and Edna Buckley, Levi and Erma Neese; and brother, Ricky Neese.

Survivors include his children, Jason Neese (Kayla) and Miranda Bullock (Bruce); parents, Kenneth and Edna Neese; grandchildren, Bryce Bullock, Logan Russell, Payson Bullock, and Camden Neese; siblings, Vicky Schellbach (Charlie), Debbie Comans (Keith), and Leon Brown.

Pallbearers will be Corey Pippin, Chris Comans, Jeremy Buckley, Peter Russell, Allen Wilson, John "Boonie" Buckley, Robby Roncali, and Greg Duncan.
