Kenneth Ray Henley, age 70, and a resident of Hickory, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 at his home.

Graveside services will begin at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Newton County Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Jess Dilley will officiate.

There will be no visitation.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard "Buck" Lavert and Mary Opal Fountain Henley, Sr.; one sister, Samantha Henley Warnin; one brother, Douglas "Ricky" Henley; one niece, Linda Faye Hitt and one nephew, Millard "Bud" Henley.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Kimberly Rae Ball Henley of Hickory; one daughter, Ashley Cieglo (Joseph) of Lake; two grandchildren, Oliver and Adeline Cieglo; one brother, Millard "M.L." Henley, Jr. (Judy) of Decatur; two nieces, Michelle Brewer of Hattiesburg and Jennifer Green; mother of Linda, Bud and Michelle, Faye Henley of Hickory; and several great-nieces and great nephews; his dearest and oldest friend, Judy Gibbon of Newton, ("and she knows she was")

Pallbearers will be Arin Brackeen, Mike Brackeen, Judd Brewer, Chris Green, Michael Parks, and Steve Warnin.

Newton County Funeral Home – North, 9998 Eastside Dr. Ext., Newton, is in charge of arrangements.
