Keith Edward Wood left this life and went to his eternal home, December 5, 2019. He was born January 9, 1938 in Tipton, IN. He was a loved husband, father, and grandfather. He was a Korean War Veteran where he served in the Navy. He was a member of the Masons. Mr. Wood was an avid marksman and enjoyed playing the guitar. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home-North. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Justin Chaney will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Margaret Wood; two brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Dale Wood; daughter, Christina Andrews (Jimmy); son, Greg Wood (Bethany); grandchildren, Karley Andrews Lurk (Jacob), Anna Andrews, Tyson Wood, Gracey Wood, Westen Wood; brother-in-law, Charley Gressett (Valerie).
