Karla was born in Quitman, MS on November 4, 1971 to Thomas J. (T.J.) Robinson and June (Creighton) Arrington.

She is survived by husband Ricky Embrey; son, Dustin Wood; mother, June Arrington; brothers:  Jeffery Robinson, Chris Robinson, Andy (Nickey) Robinson; sisters: Terena (Ed) Rogers, Easter Roddy, Linda (Paul) Lunday; mother and father-in-law, Albert and Barbara Embrey; many nieces, nephews, family, and loved ones.

She will be remembered by sweet smile, beautiful handwriting, and her gift of using words to express her heart.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Hickory, MS with visitation held one hour prior to service time.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Bro. Jack Kern will officiate.  Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Matt Roddy, James Buster Bailey, Sam Gressett, Brooks Horne, Daniel Lundy, Casey McWhirter, and Cameron Alexander.
