Julia Moss, 70, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 after long illness. A long time resident of Newton and Lauderdale County, she moved to Rankin County to be closer to her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a very Christian soul with a strong love for the Lord.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 2:00-5:00 P.M. at Newton County Funeral Home on Hwy 15 North in Newton. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Antioch Christian Church with Bro. John Cash officiating. Burial will at Antioch Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Alvin Moss of Pearl, MS; one son, Tim (Robin) Moss also for Pearl, MS. She had one granddaughter, Julie Moss of Pearl, MS, that was the apple of her eye. One sister, Stella McGuire of Biloxi, MS and one brother Tommy Sant of Chunky, MS.
