Obituary

Johnny Dewayne Williams, 50, of Union, Mississippi, passed away, Monday, December 3, 2018, at Neshoba General Hospital in Philadelphia, Mississippi. He was born February 19, 1968 in Meridian, Mississippi.

Dewayne will be remembered as a loving and caring husband and the love he had for his friends and family. Dewayne was an avid fan of Alabama Football and NASCAR.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Newton County Funeral Home-South. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Newton County Funeral Home-South. Rev. Jack Foster will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Newton County Funeral Home-South is in charge of arrangements. (601) 683-2152

He was preceded in death by his son Joshua Williams and his sister, Pamela Raye Boggan.

Survivors include his wife, Cekelia Williams; his parents, Johnny Kirklin Williams and Dianne Norman (Frank); his daughters, Ashley Williams, Brandie Walton (Randell); his step-sons, Austin Gray and Joshua Gray (Danielle "Bug"); his grandchildren, Addison Sullivan, Willow Williams, Sawyer "Monkey" Walton, Kayden Gray, Brooklyn Gray, Brantley Gray, Joshlynn Gray, and Eden Gray; his brother, Johnny Williams II (Amanda) and his sister, Johnnie Jean Flo.

Pallbearers will be Josh Gray, Austin Gray, Keith McGee, Paul Boles, Wade Rushing, and Patrick Dunn.
