Newton, MS - Services for Mr. Johnny George Wall will be held Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 2:30 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton, MS. Burial will follow in Garlandville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Benny Buckley will officiate.
Mr. Wall, 72, died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at his home. He was born Sunday, December 27, 1942.
Mr. Wall was born and raised in Newton County. He was a dairy and beef cattle farmer for 48 years. He was known to be a hard worker and was always ready to lend a hand.
He is preceded in death by his wife Martha Jane Williams Wall and parents George Gibson and Johnnie Ruth Wall.
He is survived by: son Johnny Wade Wall, daughter Gina Mayes, son-in-law Curtis Mayes and two grandsons Kurt Gibson Mayes and William Kyle Mayes.
Pallbearers will be Josh McCullough, James Williams, Bruce Culpepper, Marshel Pugh, Maurice Pugh, Eddie Pugh, Bruce Pugh and Johnny Pugh.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton.
