Johnnie Bounds Boutwell, 78, of Newton, MS died Friday, September 8, 2017, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. She was born Tuesday, November 8, 1938 in Smith County, MS.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 10, 2017, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South in Newton. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, September 10, 2017, at 3:30 PM at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Newton, MS. Dr. F. David Rives will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home - South is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Ora Bounds and one Brother - Mackey Bounds,
Survivors include her Husband - Donald Boutwell, Newton, MS, Daughter - Pam Harrison (Jeff), Grand Child - Jesse Stagg (Jerry), Great Grand Child - Trey Stagg and two sisters - Sue Hammons and Francis Rawls.
Pallbearers will be Jason Rains, John Pace, Paul Craven, Larry Mathis, Doug Comans and Dwight Comans.
