Johnnie Pearl Bounds, 80 of Hickory, MS, died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Pioneer Hospital in Newton, MS.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM, on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Masonic Cemetery in Newton with Dr. Randy Rich officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.

She was a devoted housewife and a loving mother. She worked on the farm for 47 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe George and Mary Francis Willis Harris and two brothers, Jack and Tom Harris

Survivors Include: Husband, Tommy G. Bounds of Hickory; two sons, Steve G. Bounds (Molly) of Hickory and Paul T. Bounds (Hope) of Hickory; one brother, George Harris; one sister, Edna Earle Bounds; four grandchildren, Rita, Stephanie, Tommy Ray and Patrick, one step-grandson, Jonathan; six great-grandchildren, Colby, Jo Jo, Ashley, Allison, Stephen, and Kaden.

Pallbearers: David Ferguson, Jonathan Merritt, John Brand, Johnnie Hillhouse, Ken Morgan and Michael Sullivan.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Newton County Funeral Home - South on Tuesday, December 16, 2014.
