Joe Miller Williams, age 77, of Hickory passed away April 4, 2023 at North Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Meridian.  He was born February 10, 1946 in Newton, MS.

Joe was in the dairy business for many years with his father and brother.  After their retirement, he became a beef producer, which he continued until his death.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert P. and Jeanette Baker Williams; and brother and sister-in-law, Daniel Herbert and Gloria Burt Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Tommie Dear Williams; children, Joey Williams (Amy) and Susan Dyess (Andre), all of Hickory; grandchildren, Hailey Williams, Conner Williams (Mckenzie), Kyle Williams, Mallory Dyess, and Madilyn Dyess; sister, Faye Anderson (Michael) of Hickory; and several nieces and nephews.

According to his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A private memorial service for the immediate family will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Fellowship Baptist Church, 161 CR 2422, Hickory, MS 39332, or to a charity of your choice.
