Graveside services for Jimmy Charles Ferguson will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Ferguson Cemetery, located on Pleasant Ridge Rd in Hickory, MS with Newton County Funeral Home - North in charge of arrangements. Bro. Thomas Laird will officiate.
Mr. Ferguson, 56, died Wednesday, August 19, 2015. He was born Saturday, March 7, 1959 in Newton, MS.
Mr. Ferguson was born and raised in Hickory, MS. He started his career out as a brick mason, he also was a utility surveyor, and most recently worked as a salesman at Sears. He loved eating boiled peanuts and fried oysters. One of his hobbies was cooking and he was an avid Ole Miss fan.
Those that knew him will remember him for his love for cats.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bro. Marvin Ferguson.
He is survived by his mother, Betty LeBlanc, Hickory, MS, sister, Marva Ferguson, Marlboro, MD; brothers, Rick Ferguson, Hickory, MS, Steve Ferguson, Kentwood, LA, and John Ferguson, Brandon, MS.
