Jerry Dale Pearson, 67, of Conehatta passed away on May 13, 2020.

Graveside services for Jerry Dale Pearson will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Conehatta Cemetery with Bro. Tommy Tanner officiating.  Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (601) 635-3200.

Jerry Dale "Butch" will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hitching up his wagon to go on trail rides with his family.  He loved his church and church family at Ebenezer Baptist Church.  He will be known as a loving husband and father that will truly be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Judy Pearson; daughter, Elaina Pearson and her fiancé, James Swanner; sisters: Debbie Clark (Raymond), and Donna Pearson; friend of the family, Jeanne Baker; and a host of beloved family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Jerry D. and Grace "Cookie" Pearson.

Pallbearers will be:  David Hensley, Danny Ware, Danny Wayne Haralson, James Swanner, Jimmy Harrison, Wayne Haralson, and Sal LaBue.
