Jeffray "Ray" Walker, 58, of Hickory, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Bedford Care Center in Newton, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, February 8, 1961.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Newton County Funeral Home-South. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM in the chapel. Burial will be in Hickory City Cemetery. Dr. Randy Rich will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nell Walker and his sister, Donna Whitrock.

Survivors include his children, Matthew Clark Walker, Roger Curtis Walker, and Leigh Ann Brogan; his father, Curtis Walker, Sr.; his brother and sister, Curtis Walker, Jr. and Wanda Strait; four grandchildren, Carolyne Grace Walker, Abbie Kate Walker, Zachery Cain Walker, and Emily Elizabeth Parten.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
